Offers $99 Fares Each-Way Based on Required Roundtrip Travel Between Sacramento
and Washington/Dulles - PLUS Double Miles
April 29 - United Airlines unveiled a special $99 fare (each way based on
required roundtrip purchase) for passengers traveling between Sacramento,
California (SMF) and two Washington D.C. airports -- Dulles International
(IAD) or Reagan National (DCA). In addition, those passengers traveling on
non-stop, roundtrip flights between Sacramento and Washington/Dulles may also
qualify to earn double Mileage Plus flight miles. United begins daily, non-stop
service between Washington/Dulles and Sacramento on June 3, 2004 with a convenient
morning flight leaving Sacramento at 8:45 PDT.

April 27, 2004 – United Airlines launched a special 12-month promotion
for United customers whose travel plans begin or end in the Washington, DC area.
Qualifying participants in United’s “Go Around the World”
offer earn one credit for each qualifying flight segment flown; credits are
redeemable for free* travel. The first free award, a Regional Domestic ticket
(less than 800 miles each way), may be earned after accruing four credits -
just two qualifying roundtrips - to or from Washington Dulles International
Airport (IAD), Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Baltimore-Washington

And Sony Connect Officially Launch New Services to Earn and Redeem Miles for
Music
May 4, 2004 -- Miles never sounded so good. United Airlines and Sony Connect
Inc. today officially launched Sony Connect™ and MileagePlusMusic.com,
the first-ever opportunity for frequent flier members of any major carrier to
earn and redeem miles for online music.

Airways Express will begin nonstop regional jet service between Reagan National
and Chattanooga, Tenn.,
May 3 -- The new flights will operate every day except Saturday using 50-seat
Canadair Regional Jets operated by US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines.
Flights will depart Washington at 3 p.m., and will arrive in Chattanooga at
4:49 p.m. Return flights will depart Chattanooga at 5:20 p.m., and will arrive
in Washington at 7 p.m.

May 4, 2004 -- US Airways officially joined the Star Alliance network today,
bringing customers convenient access to a network of 755 destinations in 132
countries, 575 airport clubs and lounges, and global Dividend Miles accrual
and redemption.

and simplified low fares called "GoFares®" today in Philadelphia,
kicking off the largest awareness campaign in company history. Employees will
be performing "unbelievable" acts of kindness as part of an intense
nine-day highly visible promotional campaign to tell Philadelphians about its
new $29 - $499* GoFares. Best of all, there is no Saturday night stay required
to take advantage of these new low fares in designated markets.
US Airways’ new GoFares start at as low as $29* each way, with last-minute fares as low as $49* each way. GoFares are never more than $499* each way, and there are no Saturday night stay or roundtrip purchase requirements typical of leisure-type fares.

New and Improved Web Check-In Features
May 4 -- Any customer using continental.com check-in can print out a coupon
for a free headset to use for viewing Continental's complimentary inflight entertainment.
Further, customers are now able to print a receipt for a ticket purchase along
with the boarding pass, matching the ease of using Continental's acclaimed eService
Center kiosks at the airport. Checking in online gives customers everything
they need to get through security and head straight to the gate.

Continental Airlines is beginning the following new routes as it prepares for
the summer travel season.
Delta
Launches New Flights to Amsterdam and Rome from Cincinnati
May 4, 2004 - Delta Air Lines has launched a major expansion of its international
service from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. On May
1, Delta began offering customers the first daily, nonstop service to Amsterdam,
The Netherlands, and reintroduced daily, nonstop service to Rome. Delta has
joined with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and the Netherlands
Board of Tourism and Conventions in celebrating the new service to Amsterdam
with customers traveling on the flight today with gate and on-board festivities.

Starts Codeshare Flights with China Airlines;
April 30, 2004 – Delta Air Lines will place its code on China Airlines
flights between the United States and Taiwan beginning May 1. Since 2002, Delta
customers have been earning SkyMiles on China Airlines’ daily flights
from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Seattle and New York (JFK) to Taipei.
China Airlines already places its code on Delta flights from Los Angeles and
San Francisco to Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Salt Lake City, Honolulu (from
Los Angeles and San Francisco) and Cincinnati.

Airlines Increases Domestic Fares
May 6 -- American Airlines filed a fare increase today of $2 each way to help
offset the rising cost of fuel. The increase, effective immediately, applies
to fares for travel within the U.S.

Launches New Passenger Rail Security Project
May 3 -- The TSA today launched a test program to measure the feasibility of
explosives screening for people and bags traveling on U.S. trains. Amtrak and
Maryland Rail Commuter (MARC) passengers boarding at the New Carrollton train
station will be screened for explosives starting May 4 as part of a pilot project
to make rail travel safer, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced
today.
