Announces 15,000 Miles to Bermuda, Plus Great Fares and Double Miles
May 18, 2004 - United Airlines announced that passengers can redeem a roundtrip
ticket for United's new Saturday-only service to Bermuda for just 15,000 Mileage
Plus® miles for travel through June 26, 2004. United also announced that
it is offering double miles and special introductory fares to Bermuda for as
low as $159 each way, based on required roundtrip purchase. United is the only
carrier to offer nonstop service from Chicago to Bermuda.

United and Delta Match Fare Hike To Offset Fuel Costs
American, United and Delta airlines have followed Continental Airlines in raising
fares in an effort to offset debilitating fuel costs.

Airlines Announces Worldwide Fare Increases
May 19 -- Continental, citing fuel costs north of $40 per barrel, raised fares
worldwide $10 each way for flights up to 1,000 miles and $20 one way for flights
greater than 1,000 miles.

Air Lines Offers Sale Fares for Customers Traveling North, South, East or West
May 17, 2004 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today introduced a sale throughout
the United States and to/from Canada with fares ranging from $69 to $179 each
way.

Beat Internet Fares
According to a study released Feb 26, 2004 by Topaz International, Portland
OR, business travel itineraries booked by a designated travel agency averaged
$69 less than the same itinerary booked on a public internet site during 2003.
Sites used for comparison include Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity.

airlines saw revenue recovery in April
US airline industry system revenue per ASM, excluding Southwest Airlines, rose
9.7% in April versus April 2003, "implying a much-needed modicum of demand
recovery," according to JP Morgan analyst Jamie Baker.
European
Ministers Approve U.S. Passenger Data Deal
MAY 18, 2004 -- European foreign ministers have forced through a rubber-stamping
of the controversial European Commission deal with the U.S. government regarding
access to passenger data. The approval, given on Monday, overrides a request
by the European Parliament to refer the deal to the European Court of Justice
for an opinion on its legality.

Releases New Security Guidelines For General Aviation Airports
May 17 -- The guidelines are intended to provide U.S. general aviation (GA)
airport owners, operators and users with a set of federally endorsed security
enhancements and methods for implementation.
Iran Travel Warning
May 14 -- The Department of State continues to warn U.S. citizens to carefully
consider the risks of travel to Iran and updates information about the security
situation. Due to ongoing tensions in the regions, particularly along the border
with Iraq, U.S. citizens may be at higher risk of harassment or kidnapping.
This Warning supersedes the Travel Warning for Iran of May 12, 2003.
