Airlines’ New “p.s. (SM)” Service Takes Flight Oct. 29, 2004 – United announced “p.s. SM, the company’s new premium service that offers customers more space and comfort when traveling between New York and California, started today. The first flight departed Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 8:50 a.m. PDT and is scheduled to arrive at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) at 5:03 p.m. EDT. Once fully rolled out, United’s new p.s. service will operate seven daily roundtrip flights between LAX and JFK and six between JFK and San Francisco International Airport. |

Independence Air flights will be listed under the symbol DH. In addition to participation in Galileo, Independence Air is considering partnerships with other GDS companies. |

West Announces New Service Between Las Vegas and Albuquerque, N.M. Nov 1 - America West will initiate new mainline jet service between its Las Vegas hub and Albuquerque, N.M. on March 1, 2005. The airline continues to expand service in Las Vegas in 2005 after adding service to 15 new cities in 2004 and now offers service to 55 nonstop destinations, more than any other carrier in Las Vegas. The airline also announced today that it will initiate new frequencies in Burbank, Oakland and Ontario, Calif. in December 2004 and February 2005. America West Express, operated by Mesa Airlines, will provide these new flights using the 86-seat Canadair Regional Jet. |
