Nov. 27, 2006 - The Transportation Security Administration has accredited
Verified Identity Pass to launch nationally its Clear program, which

Check-in: Parking in National Airport? Don't count on it
Dec. 1, 2006 - With its parking lots and garages often full on weekdays,
Reagan Washington National is offering travelers valet service.
At a lot near the airport entrance, travelers may leave their cars
with attendants, who will do the parking. Shuttles take customers
to the terminals. Fees: $40 for the first day; $30 for the next
two days and $25 for each following day.

US Airways meet over takeover bid
Dec. 1, 2006 - Delta Air Lines Inc. emerged late Nov. 30 from a
meeting with its creditors and US Airways Group Inc., reiterating
its plans to remain a stand-alone company.

radiation alert
Nov. 29, 2006 - British Airways is contacting at least 30,000 people
after two planes showed "very low traces" of radiation,
The Times reports. But the Health Protective Agency would not confirm
whether it was the same polonium 210 isotope used to murder former
Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko. The planes have flown to several
destinations between the time Mr Litvinenko fell ill and the poison
was discovered, including Heathrow, Europe, Turkey and Russia.

traces found at 12 sites in spy probe; Autopsy Friday
Dec. 1, 2006 - An autopsy Friday could shed light on the mysterious
death of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko, whose last movements
have left behind a radiation trail that officials say now includes
12 contaminated sites.
