Getting The Most From Travel-On

Travel-On offers many services to help make your trip as trouble free as possible. You may not be familiar with all of these services that are at your disposal. Check this spot each week for tips on how to use these services.
Travel-On's International Travel Services

Travel-On’s automated international faring system contains over 30 million fares and provides the flexibility required for complex international pricing for virtually any itinerary type, checking all applicable fare rules, and finding lowest available fares.

We employ a dedicated team of highly qualified multi-lingual agents that handle our international travel exclusively. One of the many services provided by our international department is an international rate desk. Our international rate desk manager has over 20 years of experience and extensive training in fare calculation methods, from the airlines, IATAN (International Air Traffic Association of North America), ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation), and other organizations.

Every international itinerary booked by a Travel-On agent is sent to our rate desk where it is reviewed for numerous criteria including: most expeditious or direct routing, corporate travel policy compliance, lowest available fare, layover times, visa and

passport requirements, State Department advisories, frequent flyer upgrades, alternate modes of transportation, etc.

After carefully reviewing the record, the international agent documents the record with all fare restrictions, including change or cancellation penalties, visa and passport requirements, and links to important informational sites such as the State Department. The record is returned to the booking agent for further action. In addition to an appropriately documented itinerary, a separate notification is sent via email, advising any visa requirements. Our process insures the international traveler is fully informed, and booked on the most favorable routing at the best fare.
