Getting The Most From Travel-On

Travel-On offers many services to help make your trip as trouble free as possible. You may not be familiar with all of these services that are at your disposal. Check this spot each week for tips on how to use these services.

Travel-OnLine:

Q) I put my information into my profile, but when I booked a trip, I did not get credit for my frequent flier miles. What happened?

When completing your profile, make sure that the name you use in your profile matches the name that you used when registering for your club memberships and credit cards.

Also, you will need to show a valid ID when checking in and when going through security. To avoid any delays, the name on your reservation must match the name on your picture ID.

Q) When will your online booking product be accessible through other browsers like Mozilla and Opera?

The Travel-OnLine product is owned by Travelport which also owns Orbitz, Hotels.Com, Cheaptickets, and others. It was developed with Microsoft as the first online travel site dedicated to business travel. It allows organizations to provide their travelers with an online reservations and profile management tool that is configured around both the company's travel policy and traveler preferences, and which will interface with the airline reservations systems that corporate travel agents use in booking and managing business travel.

This fall, Travelport will be releasing a new version of this product which is a combination of Orbitz and Travel-OnLine (powered by Travelport) providing more of the look, feel, and functionality that you might be used to seeing on public sites. It is a totally new product from what you are using today and, unlike the current product, will be compatible with additional browsers such as Firefox, Opera, etc.
