Travel-On Bestows Walter Reed Medical Center with $5,000 Travel Fund

Recently, Travel-On founder and Chairman, Bill Goldstein, visited the long- term hardship rehabilitation center at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. “It was amazing, so high-tech. The money and effort being put into giving wounded soldiers back a normal life is remarkable.” Bill toured the hospital and met with numerous soldiers. Some are scheduled for months of rehabilitation.

In order to allow soldiers’ families and loved ones to visit them during the often lengthy rehabilitation process, Travel-On has started a travel fund with a $5,000 initial donation. How to travel well on a weak dollar

Air Travel Humor

A woman called and asked, "Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know who's luggage belongs to who?" I said,"No, why do you ask?" She replied, "Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said FAT, and I'm overweight, is there any connection?" After putting her on hold for a minute while I "looked into it" ( I was actually laughing) I came back and explained the city code for Fresno is FAT, and that the airline was just putting a destination tag on her luggage.
