Strikes Hit French Rail and Air Travel

The trade unions of France have carried out their second round of mass protest against the decision of the government to raise the retirement age. The strike action was held on Thursday. The strike slowed down the travel of thousands of air and train passengers and also disturbed the schools and government offices across the country. Read more
