New Passport Forms Available Online on March 1

Delta Eliminates Miles Expiration  

Delta Air Lines has now decided to eliminate expiration dates in its SkyMiles program, making it the only major U.S. airline without some form of frequent-flier mile expiration. Read more

 

United Airlines will keep Economy Plus seats as it combines with Continental  

United Airlines says it will keep its Economy Plus seats, where passengers can pay an extra fee to get more legroom. United currently has Economy Plus on all 359 of its planes. The combined fleet will have it on more than 700 planes plus some regional jets. The charge depends on the length of the flight; it's $49 each way for Denver-to-Seattle, for example. Read more

Radisson Drops Free Internet for All But Loyalty Members

On March 31, Carlson will replace its Goldpoints Plus program with Club Carlson, a points-based program that includes free Internet access at Radisson hotels globally and at all Carlson brands across North America. Free Internet previously had been a brand standard across Radisson’s North America properties, a relative rarity among upscale brands, but Carlson CEO Hubert Joly said that would no longer be the case.
