Travel Place Potomac Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Travel-On

potomac-agentsThis week we celebrated 10th anniversaries for Tammy Sivers, Carla Koller, and Joanne Myrland in our Travel Place Potomac location and Stephanie Killebrew from our corporate teams. Congratulations! We’re lucky to have you on our team!

Winter Weather, Travel Plans, and Your Travel-On Agent

When wintry weather disrupts travel plans, travelers who book through Travel-On have many advantages over those who “go it alone.” Travel-On agents have your back, preparing to help you long before you even know that you need help. To safeguard our number one priority, our clients’ safety, we closely monitor the latest news, weather, and travel updates. By providing the facts we enable our clients to make informed decisions about every aspect of their travel. When the situation requires a change of plans we are our travelers’ personal “safety net”. Our vendor relationships allow us to access limited inventory to quickly rebook, often for no additional charge, and obtain travel vouchers or refunds that travelers may not know are due or available to them. Because of our resources and advocacy, our clients have peace-of-mind when it comes to their travel plans regardless of what Mother Nature sends their way.

Q and A

Can I take my own Easy Pass and use it in a rental car?

Technically yes, however, you must make sure that it is properly adhered to the windshield in order to be read. If the sensors are unable to read it they will take a picture of the license plate and the rental company will charge you for the toll and likely a fee or penalty as well. If the rental car has its own Easy Pass you’ll also need to be sure it is removed from the windshield and properly stowed so that it cannot also be read.
