Effective March 1, Tbilisi International Airport will be closed during the daytime for approximately four months in order to renovate the airport’s runway. Flights have been rescheduled for evening hours.

The 5th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation OIC Summit will be held in Jakarta March 6-7. Expect tight security as Islamic leaders to attend.

The Belgian government reintroduced border controls along the French frontier on Feb. 23. Expect noticeably increased security along the northernmost part of the border, especially in the De Panne municipality of West Flanders Province. Those traveling by air between the two countries are unlikely to be affected.
