Bank Holiday tourists face a long weekend of rail and road snarl-ups with strikes, roadworks, and ongoing problems near London’s busiest rail junction. East Coast trains will be affected by a 24-hour strike on May 4, while some South West services into and out of London will be disrupted.

An apparent iPad app glitch is grounding some American Airlines flights. American Airlines confirms the issue in a statement saying “Some flights are experiencing an issue with a software application on pilot iPads”, and that some of the flights had to return to the gate for a WiFi connection to fix the issue. Several dozen flights affected.
