Cyclone Nilofar, currently the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane, is expected to make landfall late Friday/early Saturday near the border of Pakistan and India. Coastal flooding, damaging winds and life-threatening flooding due to heavy rain forecast Friday into Saturday as Nilofar moves inland across southeast Pakistan and northwest India.

A 24-hr general strike announced with planes, trains, maritime and local transportation personnel to be on strike on Friday, Nov 14th.
