More than 600 Norwegian Airline pilots are set to strike on November 4, if the company fails to reach an agreement on its new corporate structure by November 3. The strike is expected to ground flights in Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Stockholm Arlanda and Copenhagen.

The Belgian train drivers’ union has called for a nationwide 24-hour strike starting at 0300 Nov. 5. Although the extent of disruptions is not yet known, the industrial action will likely severely affect the national rail service provider SNCB and freight services. Eurostar and Thalys services might be severely curtailed.

The air traffic controllers strike planned for Oct 25-28 has been called off.
