Dutch authorities implemented additional security measures at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the surrounding area following an unspecified terror threat signal July 30. Although the heightened security is not expected to affect flight operations, checks of all vehicles approaching the airport are causing significant traffic delays on roads to the airport.
