Europe – ATCECU Strike

Reminder: The Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination (ATCEUC), has called for its 14,000 members to strike on October 10, in protest at the European Commission proposal to restructure the European air space to one single air space. ATCEUC said in a statement: “If you have a flight scheduled for October 10, there is a high likelihood of it being delayed. Strong delays and some cancellations are expected all over Europe.” The strike may be called off, if negotiations are agreed upon prior to the strike date. The ATCEUC union has members in the following countries; Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
