Since its founding in 1974, Travel-On has participated extensively in community services and charitable projects. Subscribing to the principle of "giving back", we cooperate with public-service fundraisers for a wide range of deserving causes who realize the value of our travel contribution.

Travel-On’s founder and Chairman is a founding member of the University of Maryland President’s Club, a public service organization. He also served on the Governor’s Commission on Discrimination in Housing and the Workplace for the State of Maryland, and the Governor’s Wellmobile Program Advisory Board.

Mr. Goldstein currently serves following Boards:

  • ADL - Anti-Defamation league; www.adl.org
  • ASIRT - ASIRT is a non-profit, humanitarian organization that promotes road travel safety through education and advocacy. www.asirt.org
  • KidSave International - Every child needs a family. Kidsave is a volunteer-driven organization that is working to move older children out of orphanages and foster care and into permanent, loving families. www.kidsave.org
  • Shaare Tefila Synagogue - www.shaaretefila.org

He is also a former executive board member of Food and Friends, a non-profit organization which prepares and delivers over 3000 meals per day to over 1000 homebound men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and other life- threatening illnesses in Washington and the Maryland and Virginia suburbs. www.foodandfriends.org

To more widely diversify its community service initiatives, and to promote increased participation in such worthwhile endeavors, Travel-On provides leave with pay for employees who volunteer their assistance to community service organizations.

The management and staff of Travel-On is pleased to have been able to support these worthy organizations.
