Cyclone Nilofar, currently the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane, is expected to make landfall late Friday/early Saturday near the border of Pakistan and India. Coastal flooding, damaging winds and life-threatening flooding due to heavy rain forecast Friday into Saturday as Nilofar moves inland across southeast Pakistan and northwest India.

A 24-hr general strike announced with planes, trains, maritime and local transportation personnel to be on strike on Friday, Nov 14th. Starting at 9pm on Nov 14th, planes will strike for the whole day while local transportation and ferries for 24hrs, with different starting times depending on specific location.
