Revises Ticket Policies for Travel Affected by Winter Weather in

January 4, 2004 –United Airlines revised ticketing policies
for travel to and from destinations impacted by severe winter weather
in Chicago. Effective immediately, these new policies apply to all
customers ticketed on or before Jan. 4, 2004 for travel through
Jan. 12, 2004 to, from or via O’Hare International Airport.

December 30, 2003 - Beginning January 1, 2004, United will reward
customers buying United First, United Business and unrestricted
fares in economy class by crediting 150% on both miles and segments
earned toward 2005 elite status. In addition, customers buying United
First and most United Business fares will continue to enjoy redeemable
mile bonuses.

fees increases:

wave season nears for two airlines
Jan 8) -- XM Satellite Radio will make its airline debut this year
on AirTran and JetBlue. XM will give airline listeners access to
about 100 digital audio channels, with music, news, sports, weather,
talk, comedy and children's entertainment programming.
Both airlines will offer XM to passengers for free. AirTran said
it will begin installation this summer, finish every aircraft in
the fleet by the end of the year and have it on every new 737 it
receives.

trained, government-law enforcement officers on some flights to,
from or over the U.S. if there is intelligence about a terrorist
threat on the flights, the Dept. of Homeland Security said.

LONDON, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Thomas Cook Airlines, the charter flight
arm of Europe's second biggest travel firm, said on Tuesday it would
cancel any flights on which it was required to carry an armed air
marshal on board.

Airways says no armed marshals for now
Jan 6 -- South African Airways (SAA) [SAA.UL] said on Tuesday it
would not for the time being meet U.S. demands to carry air marshals
on some flights bound for the United States. U.S. authorities last
month ordered foreign airlines flying to the United States to place
armed marshals on board aircraft identified as posing a security
threat or risk.

widen over sky marshals
Jan 6 -- More countries have joined the protests against American
proposals to place armed guards on US-bound flights. Portugal is
the latest nation to voice concern, as its civil aviation authority
said that putting loaded guns aboard an aircraft could endanger
it.

for Three-Year Term
Jan 6 -- Galileo International, a leading global distribution services
(GDS) company and subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD),
and American Airlines (NYSE: AMR), today announced that American
Airlines has joined its Preferred Fares Select program. Preferred
Fares Select provides U.S.-based Galileo-connected travel agencies
and their customers with complete access to all published fares,

booking fee rate. With the addition of American Airlines, Galileo
now offers its travel agents full content from all six of the top

Jan 5 -- Galileo International, a leading global distribution services
(GDS) company and subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD),
has announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with British
Airways (BA), ensuring that Galileo-connected travel agencies and
their customers continue to have complete access to the broadest
possible range of BA fares directly through the Galileo system on
a worldwide basis.
Alaska
Airlines has announced that it is canceling all flights into and
out of Portland January 8.
A winter storm, highlighted by freezing rain, continues to hamper
flight operations at Portland International Airport. Alaska, which
normally operates 42 departures from Portland daily, has been unable
to operate any flights out of the city since Monday evening due
to the severe weather conditions. The airline hopes to be able to
resume service to and from Portland on Friday.

Airways Club World Sleeper Service Trial from Washington and Dubai

a new service style in Club World called Sleeper Service. Following
the positive feedback from customers who tested the service on New

West Pilots Ratify Tentative Agreement
America West Airlines has announced that it has been informed by
the Air Line Pilots Association that its pilots have voted to ratify
a three-year contract.
The pilots had been in negotiations for over three years and the
airline had been the target of informational picketing in October,
2003. The airline is pleased with the vote results and believes
this represents an important step forward in its continuing transformation.

Dec 29, 2003 -- Continental Airlines is extending the expiration
date for its offer to exchange up to $97,000,000 aggregate principal
amount of its unregistered Floating Rate Secured Subordinated Notes
due 2007, which were issued on May 9, 2003 (the "Old Subordinated
Notes"), for a like principal amount of Floating Rate Secured
Subordinated Notes due 2007 that have been registered under the
Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The exchange offer will now
expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on January 5, 2004, unless
extended further. All other terms of the exchange offer remain unchanged.

& NJ Port Authority to launch a second automated toll plaza
at George Washington Bridge
Beginning Sunday, January 4, 2004, the lower level of the George
Washington Bridge will be open to E-ZPass customers only on Mondays
through Fridays from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays
from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The upper level of the George Washington
Bridge will continue to serve cash paying customers and E-ZPass
customers at all times.
